Hi all,

Just wandering if someone has any idea what this whirring hiss noise is. At first I thought it might be a dicky alternator bearing or a/c compressor pump but the noise is not actual coming from the engine from what I can gather. It is more in way of the transmission area but off set to the passenger side of the vehicle underneath the car.

I'd greatly appreciate any pointers as to what it might be??

I have a 2018 diesel and it makes it exactly the same noise as yours! I recently sold a 2014 and that did not do it but I wondered and still do if it is the sound from the ad blue injector. I think the tank is in that area - so thought it was normal?

it sounds like vacuum problem, run aircon,check suspension up and down see if any of this affects the noise
