2014 Range Rover 22" Wheel Tyre Sizes

Apologies in advance as this has probably been covered plenty of times.

The question I have is that on my 2014 RR Sport I have 22" wheels with 275/40/22 tyres, the tyres are budget and I m looking at replacing the tyres ASAP with quality items. The thing I am trying to achieve some more protection for the rims and seen other posts that there are certain brands that over hang the rim more than other products as in Continental, Pirelli etc. I have attached pictures for information to show the state of my wheels at the moment.

Has anyone also gone up a profile to make the ride a bit more comfortable?

Hi, I have just bought new 22/275/40 inch Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Seasons after lots of research and pricing up. I paid £280 each (I think) . I don’t know if you have a Costco near you but they are doing a deal on Mitchellin tyres where you get £100 off if you buy 4 tyres which is a good deal. I got my tyres from my local garage who service my vans and cars. I got a price from the specialist who services my RRS but the price was ridiculous…..

Hi there,
Thank for the response. I am looking for more advice on the rim and what tyres people are using for this to give a little protection and if I can change the tyre sizing as in maybe 285/45/22 to increase the width and help with the rim issue and maybe a bit more of a comforting ride!

Thanks Wayne
