Got the cleaning kit out (+ advice on arch trims needed)

Very rare for me, usually work and family life just takes over but I do enjoy spending time cleaning my cars.....although I am in no way a professional - very simple cleaning for me.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a couple of photos as after a couple of weeks of ownership, I am really enjoying the Orkney Grey paintwork.

I do have a question regarding the wheel arch trims, if anyone can help? I knew I needed new ones as they were 'hanging down' when I got the car. After the clean today, I have managed to blast them off with the pressure washer Laughing. I'll be ordering some new ones shortly (if anyone can suggest the best place to get them) but should I be removing the arch liners as well and cleaning / protecting behind them? I'm not sure, how long the trims have been dislodged for.

Thanks all!

Might be worth removing the rear door post lower plastic trims to clean out behind them, the amount of crap that accumulates behind them is quite amazing. Could do a search on the wheel arch edge protector trims plenty of post on them and where best to buy.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice on cleaning out behind the rear door trim Col, much appreciated.

I did do a search but a lot of the links have since expired, I think I have found the right ones on eBay now though.

Thanks again!

Not a bad deal, exactly same stuff as used on the Sport, if careful when cutting to length there is enough to do the whole vehicle twice.

Cheers
