Departure and charging times are controlled by the User interface in car. If you are using granny charger you may not have enough time to charge fully as I think if I remember you are lucky to get 2.3 kwh in an hour. A single phase 32 amp charger takes just over 2 hours from empty to full and I use a zappi on ev rate for 3 hours.

Used the user interface, get the message that charging will start at midnight as programmed when i switch off the car, but as soon as I plug in the charger it immediately begins charging?????

Those are totally different pages to my Sport, but it looks like you have a departure time of 00:05?

No problem. When I got my P400e 3 years ago I did exactly the same and did not realise the significance of the departure time.
