I was undecided as to the what colour to get silver or black as when you park a zermat silver next to a zambesi silver the zermat silver looked dirty, and you cant get zambesi silver anymore, but having seen yours alone in the picture above Baron it looks excellent and no different, Bow down mine currently is zambesi

Decided, zermat silver it is then Thumbs Up some of my Previous cars

The only difference between the two colours is that the zermatt has a slight blue hint to it in certain light conditions, which is really nice. Zambesi was boring silver.

I'm still torn between stornoway and zermatt. I was the same first time around. Better make my mind up soon. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Agree about darker colours, but I spoke to the girlfriend and she's suggesting black.

She's not choosing the colour of MY car, so will probably let her have her way with this, as this is going to be the shared "family / dog wagon" in what will eventually become a 3 car family (with us having something a bit more nimble each...)

That was the other reason for initially turning away from the TDv8. I'll be getting my petrolhead kicks elsewhere Smile Wink

Stornoway or black or silver are all good

The tdv6 is a great engine 25-27 mpg - goes very well once chipped!

The tdv8 is a beast mpg? - sounds good and does not need chipping!

Doc i was surprised with the mpg on the V8, i reset the computer when i picked it up, thrashed the living daylights out of it and yet it still recorded 22mpg, my V6 only achieves 22.5 mpg Big Cry and i haven't reset that for months and i drive that a bit more sensible Whistle some of my Previous cars

ENVOY,

If you haven't reset your average on the TDV6 for months then you cant compare the two figures - I average 25.9mpg in mine and thats based on measured tank fillups - TDV8 at 22mpg is still pretty impressive though

I take your point Kaine, but i reckon that if i were to reset my computer and drive the v6 in the same manner as the v8 i bet it would be under 20mpg
