Morning , I have a 67 plate 2017 RRS with touch screen pro infotainment, its updated to the latest software so it says, i have in-control fitted, app communicates with the car and with desktop PC and a working sim card and wifi. I also have a 2018 disco 5 with the same infotainment ( well meridan not low level as in the RRS ) my question is on media, i don't have online media available for spotify and tune in available in the source menu, all i have is media which is basically a store for mp3 files you stream off a usb, and radio and phone (if i toggle the phone to send audio files ) on the disco 5 i have radio, connected media ( phone) and online media for data streaming spotify. Dose anyone know how you get online media on the source list in the RRS?
and yes to save anyone saying just stream off my phone via Bluetooth instead , i am aware i can do this, but don't want to because i prefer to leave the phone for phone tasks not media streaming ( self employed and the phone is a mobile office ) in the D5 i can run these separate but not the RRS which is annoying, i have gone through the CCF using Gap iid tool but see nothing related to connectivity of media, again the GAP is the latest G4 tool and updated last week so running the latest software. Any thoughts, advice etc from the same experience would be appreciated .
