One for the techies here. Any advice welcome.

Just been searching the web for the past two hours, trying to find another sport with a s/start battery as big as mine.
Been out to change mine this am. took old one off, got new one ot of the box only to find its about a 1/4 to a third size of the one that’s fitted.
put old one back on then started searching web. The only one I can find with bigger battery is a post on this forum dated..................14th June 21 by IRBails..on this forum
Not sure if you can help in any way. mine looks identical to the pic posted Not sure if its like that from factory assume not, as all videos on you tube show changing little battery like I've bought.
The car bought second hand three years ago. 2016 A/B 4.4
Scratching my head now wondering what battery to buy, or should the little one be fitted?

Just a quick follow up to this incase anyone else has the same scenario.

Second s/s Battery fitted to my car from new was ...Exide EK700 Start-Stop AGM 12V 70Ah 760A car battery

Thus just replaced with exact same.

Its a tight fit for sure, why bigger than usual a mystery to me and others I've asked!
However like for like, so assume all is good.

On another note Iid tool saying battery change failed when I tried to do it.!! anyone shed let on that?

Its working fine tho so hay-ho.

Just to reiterate if anyone else has the larger battery....
