Hi from Italy

Good evening everyone,
I signed up because I am interested in purchasing a RRS ATB p550e. I currently drive BMW X5 45e and am very satisfied. The RRS in my opinion is the most aesthetically pleasing car and the ATB trim is wonderful. I only have some doubts regarding the reliability of the vehicle, so I signed up to the forum to find out some owners' opinions.
Thank you Thumbs Up

@FunkGogh
Go for it Smile

Often people claim that LR is unreliable. These people mostly never owned one and b) the last generations seems to get older very well Smile

Yeah, it's true: the old Lion V6 Diesel (which is not implemented in the L461, your choice) suffers from crankshaft issues. This has also a link to how the car is maintained.

The new RR/RRS are not less reliable than any BMW Wink
So, go for it and enjoy it! Range Rover Sport HST D350

LR's reputation for bad reliability seems mostly to stem from the dealerships being atrocious at fixing anything that does go wrong. Several trips back to the dealer to get an issue fixed makes it seem unreliable.

Yes, they do have known issues in the older models (and no doubt the L461 will have its own share of known issues over time, all cars do), but provided they're looked after properly they aren't unreliable. No doubt the L461 will be the same if looked after properly. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I have a First Edition P510e and love it. It’s just great in EV mode around town. For me the one of the best bits is the rear wheel steering as it makes the car so manoeuvrable particularly at low speed.

I have had a X5 in the past and the RRS is a far better car. This is my third RRS and I have had no reliability issues at all. 2022 P510e RRS AB Frenze Red
