Today I got 4 new tyres for my car as they have been picked up on the last 2 MOTs as cracked and only 3mm left on them. Anyway after lots of searching online my local garage was the cheapest. I got Pirelli Scorpion Verde all seasons for £285 each fitted.

That sounds expensive Tyre Shopper part of National Tyres / Halfords are showing Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season 275 45 R21 110Y for £226.99 fully fitted and if you watch their web site or get on their mailing list you can get up to 15% discount for 4 tyres.

Mine are the 22 inch tyres and tyre shopper price is £298.99 so I think I got a good deal. Unless they do a discount for buying 4 which I couldn’t see on their site.

If you're putting tyres on once every 3 or 4 years, it's not that expensive really.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
