Just a quick note. My 6 year old Yuasa HSB019 (with 5 year warranty) let me down the other morning. I just hadn't used the car for about a week but that was too much for the battery. Had a look at Halfords where I had bought the last one in 2018 and they had the same one but with a 10% discount on the current price as their current offer. Couldn't make the discount code work so decided to take a short trip to the store to talk to someone.

I hold a Halfords trade card which costs me nothing but I use sparingly for odds and ends and it often comes up trumps. So the reason for my post - my £154.79 battery from Halfords with trade card discount came to £103.08! 33% off! That's enough for a few bevies at he pub tonight!

If anyone is thinking about a new battery, it may be worth checking out the Halfords Trade Card before handing over any dosh. Robin
