central locking works on all 4 doors but top and bottom tailgate still open by operating opening catch/button.
means i cant go out for fear of it being stolen.
Is it new actuator needed for both locks?

never heard this before.

The CJB should know the car is locked and not respond to any open/release requests.

Similarly if the glass is open the tailgate can't be opened (and vice versa)

Can you see any aftermarket wiring at the rear, when the locking system has been bypassed?


I feel you are going to have to bodge this by putting a switch in the pink wires by the rear seats (on driver side)

or maybe put the switch in the panel at the side of the throttle.

I guess it could be worth trying a battery off reset to see if that helps

so car locks but you can open top and bottom tailgates without alarm going off.
car wont lock if either is not closed properly.according to my momentum warranty central locking is covered, so i guess it may be a trip to main dealers.
