Also, I forgot to add, LR are now making colour coded wing mirror caps at £60+vat and I have ordered some. Also the car is going back to the stealers because the rear tailgate is out of allignment. Has anyone experienced anything like the before?? 2013 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

Rear tailgate / spoiler alignment and tailgate rattles are a big problem on the RRS.

I quite like the tailgate on the sport, whereas the FFRR is a pig to get stuff out of which is right at the back by the seats, Just imho some of my Previous cars

Been there............................ I have short legs too. There are 3 ways out of the predicament, 1 requiring a bit of athletics and one that can be used in polite company, and the third involves using a Frelander1 accessory that fits the FF better than it fits a Freelander............................ 1) Fold down the lower section of the tailgate and get your butler climb onto it to reach in for what you want to retrieve- and get loads of stares from the passing public 2) Open the rear passenger doors and fold down a seat back and reach in, but this also isn't as easy/ dignified as it sounds as even in access mode FF's are pretty high for those with weeny short legs! 3)Envelope Luggage Net (part number STC7952) for a 5 door Freebie1 fits perfectly onto either set of the side securing lugs moulded into the side lips of the shelf that the folding boot cover slides on and the hooks in the hoot at floor level, thus stopping anything in the boot from sliding any further forward...................... in fact the elsatic doesn't have to stretch as much in the FF as it does in the Freelander making the net easier to take out and put in when needed! Oh and it opens up so you can sling stuff into the net envelope bit which is really useful if you have carrier bags from the supermarket. As I no longer have a Freelander or a FF my envelope net now resides in the back of my Defender where it does the same job as in the FF.......................... I cannot use it in the Sport as LR were a bunch of tighta:censored:s and didn't mould any hooks into the boot surround of the RRS 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |
