Brakes locking at front after Servo / master cylinder change

So I’ve replaced the brake servo and master cylinder on my RRS. Bled the brakes through thoroughly until all new liquid, no bubbles etc. Done it through the computer so the ABS pump was being worked through too.

Drive great for half a mile or so. Then the steering started shaking violently and I got HDC fault, ABS fault. It also felt like the front brakes had locked on the whole way back home.

Plugged the computer in and it was showing a pressure fault in the ABS pump so naturally I assumed I hadn’t got all the air out. Bled bled and bled again. No change apart from the HDC fault doesn’t come on but brakes are still locking and steering is shaking. Calibrated the steering angle sensor as I heard that might be a thing still nothing.

Not sure if this is normal or not but when I’m bleeding through the diagnostic when it gets to front right and rear right the ABS pump makes a god awful noise and vibrates through the pedal aggressively. Doesn’t do it for the left hand side?!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

There are a number of reports of the length/link between the servo and pedal giving problems when servo changed. Causing the brakes to be stuck on.

Yours sounds slightly different.
Maybe try driving with the DSC button pressed on start up, to disable it.

Only use a genuine master cylinder.

Made by TRW for JLR, but the TRW OEM version causes issues like this, for whatever reason Rolling Eyes
