Error Messages - water in fuel..bonnet open…etc

Hi

2014 L494 with 95k on clock has started throwing up a number and these error messages…..water in fuel. Bonnet open and low coolant levels. Looking at previous forum threads it seems the issue is related to the headlight earth straps. However I am now unable to lock the vehicle as the alarm keeps tripping. Is this normal for issues with the headlight earth straps or is there something else going on which is tripping the alarm.

Thanks in advance

Passenger side under front arch liner earth stud corroded. Drivers side gives ABS and associated faults. Simple check, see which Headlight isn't working and that's your side to look at. I'd recommend doing both sides as sooner or later you'll be doing the job again!

I've just had the exact same issues. It was all resolved with the earth strap fix. Thumbs Up
