L491 JLR Service Plan £1500 - Is it worth it?

Hi. Just been offered 2 services, 21000 and 42000 by JLR.

Is it worth it?
The dealer is saying I will save c£300.

Views / Advice welcome

I worked it out on my jag and the plan was a small bit more expensive.

I think they are only worth it if you are doing high miles and need a service once a year.

I think it's more do to high service prices, so you can pay monthly. Rolling with laughter

May save you a couple of quid but it does mean you have the main dealer's spanner monkeys attacking your pride and joy. Which means it'll go wrong and require several visits to sort it out.

I'd take your money and go to a decent LR indie. The vehicle will reward you a better ownership experience. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
