I've just paid a deposit for 2024 RRS 300D. The initial car I wanted had park assist but unfortunately it has been sold. Now they've managed to get another car but without park assist instead its got Premium cabin lighting & Heads Up Display which i think the HUD can be a distraction in a way but guess it can be disabled as well.

HUD is the best thing going, far better than park assist & surround cameras. Think I used mine twice Range Rover Sport: Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S |

Interestingly, HUD is no longer an option on the configurator…. I couldn’t spec it. Which was annoying as I had it on previous 2 RRS MY 24 D300 Dynamic |

@Atlanticjon, yes you can correct. its not in the configurator. The dealership will need to add it as options on their other application/system.

The current D350 First Ed is the first RRS I have had the HUD on and would totally agree that it is a great tool, don't know why I didn't spec it on the others.

Soft close doors is an interesting one.

Totally agree with you on the double seals and door shuts, it's the constantly reminding the same people that the doors are soft close so don't slam them, and for some reason people think Oh it's a heavy door so must push it hard to close it, that just drives me nuts and wife is the worst of the lot. she's in the car or driving it most days.
