Has anyone done this to try and get some V8 sound out of the car? I have been told that the DPF kills the sound on them and no switchable option available like SVR V8? any ideas?

Although my 2010 TDV8 had no DPF, I had MIJ fit a stainless straight through system front to back.

This was cheaper than the cost of 2 new rear boxes that were needed when I purchased it.

Many didn't believe it was a diesel if you just heard it from the back of the car, it was almost perfect, the only drawback was it was apparently a bit droney if sat in the rear when travelling at anything over 50mph.

If I had kept it, I might have had a small silencer installed midway to overcome this.

I believe whilst a couple of potential buyers were put off by it, the guy that eventually bought it, was sold the minute I fired it up.
