United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

On the face-lift L320, the space is partly filled with other stuff but I think you could still fit a small aux battery in there. It's in front of the brake master cylinder under the black plastic cover that matches the battery cover.

On warm-climate models, the aux battery goes where the FFBH is at the front of the engine bay on cold climate models.

The original L320 had a larger space in front of the master cylinder and a reasonable aux battery could be installed (and it's even designed for it with preinstalled threaded battery bracket locations, etc.). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for the info, didn't think that it could have one as standard.
