Do all "facelift" SVRs have GPF (particulate filte
Hi, saw some posts that the facelifted RRS SVR versions ("MY 2019" and so on) don't have as nice sound as the older ones. Is that the case?
I remember with many German cars, the GPF requirement became September 2018 due to some EU legislation, and many cars that were first registered before that date still did not have the GPFs. Any chance that would be the case with RRS SVR? Currently, there are around 5 facelifted SVR models for sale in the EU that were registered already during early 2018 - would these be better purchases, or do all the facelift models have the same sound?
Is the sound still ok in the later models even if not as crazy as the first ones?
Thanks.

The general consensus is that the latter SVRs were a bit quieter, a bit more "grown up". Whether that was due to a GPF being fitted or just a change of direction by LR hasn't been discussed on the forum so far as I can remember.
There are several threads on the forum about the SVR and differences between the versions, so it might be worth spending a few minutes looking through those. Putting +SVR +noise in to the search box would be a start.2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
