Thought the original post was guess how much the man had been quoted for repair by bodyshop, not how cheap it can be done using scrapyard parts.

In a nutshell Back on the road for less than £1500. It'll be with me until it dies/rusts away/becomes uneconomical to repair, then stripped for parts Being a CAT N doesn't bother me. All damage is superficial Still a lot of car for a net £4k (inc original purchase price) now though. Just won't make a habit of it |

Haven’t tried Carwow, Motorway were about £400 better. Reality is the WBAC offer would be nearer £12k in the end |
