In A Bind, installed new batteries, discovered Ground wire conection under wheel arch corroded , cleaned it up and when i tried to start up it gave me loads of faults and Steering Locked, i cant move the car
please help if you can

As a first step, I would say disconnect the battery, and leave it like that for about an hour.

then reconnect and see what happens. --

I had thought i repaired the Ground fault however, after that, the same problems where there only i now had the locked steering

I then stripped the wheel and the arch covers off and i found that the Ground Post connection was broken.
i removed the plastic frame or cartridge it was in then drilled and tapped a m6 thread in the ground post then bolted the ground wires to it. That was it, car fired up steeting unlocked and all fault errors gone , what a relief for sure,
