I was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram showing the standard factory wiring for the trailer hitch plugs?
Connected a trailer up the other day and all works fine apart from the light cirduit.
I checked the trailer but it is definitely working on there... on checking the centre pin (7) for lights there is nothing and all the cabling is fine that I can see.
Looks like I need to take the Passengers side rear inned panel off and investigate what has happened in there but as it was "cabled" at the factory it should all be fine.
I just want to know what connections I need to check in there.
I havent been able to configure any of the 7 pin CCF configurations in the GAP tool to have my rear sensors etc switch off with a trailer on... so maybe it is something to do with the last CCF change I made... I havent used the trailer until just recently since I made the change.
I belive the lights worked ok back then.
If anyone has an Aussie delivered 2010 2011 RRS and their Gap tool... can you let me know what is the standard CCF that works it would be much appreciated.

Probably a fuse blown behind the glovebox.

Check your owns manual if you have one

Obvious question: have you checked the fuses for the trailer wiring? There's a small fuse box in the boot under the floor. I had an issue with trailer lights once, messed around with the trailer, got lights working by changing wiring around, etc., only to later find the little fuse box and the blown fuse therein.

Edit: the fuse box in the boot was on a MY08 so maybe the 2010 is different. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Definitly doesnt have the fuse box in the boot... that would just be too simple... its a LR product...lol
I have had a basic check of the fuses behind the dash but I will need to investigate further.

There seem to be 2 generic Trailer Socket fuses.. one 30 amp and 1 10 amp plus some specific ones for Side lights.

I am doing a 1400 km trip this weekend so wont have time till next week now.
Strange that the indicators and brake lights work.. just the main lights not working yey they are fine on the Rover.

Just something else to track down and sort out... keeps life interesting

Cheers... Another link I found had it as fuse F14 Side Lamp trailer...
I will have a look after the weekend...

Definately Fuse 27... couldnt find my long nose pliers to remove it.. but I will maybe Sunday when I get back.
