6 Weeks in Issues

Took delivery of the car 31st of March having ordered middle of May 2022.
Second landrover product having had a 2016 disco sport from new for just over 6 years with no major issues.
This rather very good looking nearly £100K car has two niggling issues and one new unbelievable issue for a 6 week old car.
The first is rattling parcel shelf which I have sort of have accepted to lilive with. The second is excessive wind noise from the drivers window which the dealership is going to look at next week.
Finally yesterday I noticed liquid dripping under the car. Upon examination two joints in the exhaust are leaking water. LR assist came and confirmed this was the case. Will be looked at the dealership next week.
Surely I will get a loan can considering the car is less that two months old?

Any one noticed this leak? Rolling Eyes

I've not had your other issues when I wanted a like for like car I was told no and I could have a disco sport but then they couldn't book me in for several weeks longer if I wanted the car so I arranged my own transport.

Hopefully you have more luck than me.

Had a defender 130 waiting as a loan car when I dropped the car off. Fingers crossed won't be too long to sort the car. 2023 RRS

What's the 130 like? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Funny enough I asked for the 130 two weeks ago when I dropped the RRS to have the dashcam fitted. I was glad I only had it for a day. Now might have it for a few more days. Certainly a looker, had more people asking me about it than the RRS. Inside is far from luxury as you can imagine with so many hard bits and the seats are not comfy. This one is a P400e but the engine sounds and feels very much like a diesel. The parking sensors are scarily loud and a bit overprotective. Drives ok but I find the steering wheel too chunky and big. 2023 RRS

Update - The service centre state the leak experienced is normal due to heat and condensation.
One the wind noise, they kept the car for 8 days series of changes around the door which reduced the noise. Finally decided its the the triangular window but this is on back order so have to return in a few weeks.
Glad to be out of the Defender. Not the easiest car to drive 2023 RRS
