L494. Model year changes to suspension?

3 years ago I owned a 2014 RRS but sold quickly due to poor ride quality. Car seemed to “bobble” down road and didn’t settle. Possibly due to having 22 inch wheels.
Loved car otherwise and have heard that later (2016,17 or later) had revised suspension that made car more comfortable and compliant. Struggling to find anything definite about these changes but would like to own another one.
Any thoughts or owners experience welcomed.
Thanks Simon

Which model did you have? Did it have Active Dynamic suspension?

My 14 plate RRS 5.0 had a similar issue where it felt as if it ws wobbling when coming to a standstill.
I vacuum removed a lot of the fluid from the reservoir, topped up with fresh, and it was like a new motor. I traced the issue to dirty fluid and filter in the reservoir that hadn't been changed. Reservoir changed, fluid changed and its been a dream.
When changing the oil, make sure it's in off road mode as this opens up the valves to allow the fluid to move and not lock up to stiffen the suspension. Otherwise , you'll still have dirty fluid in the system.

Thanks for responding.
Regret not giving it more of a chance so will just have to try a few to see how they perform. Don’t remember if it had Dynamic but it was an HSE, 3.0 D on 64 plate.

If it said Sport on the back in Red, it was a Dynamic.

Don’t know if it had dynamic or not….dont have pics now.
Not sure what difference dynamic makes to how car rides?
Have been told that 20” wheels make huge difference to ride comfort, mine had 22”.
Need to try one on 20” next. Thanks for replies anyway

Dynamic Sports had active ARB’s and Terrain Response 2. Both the dynamic and non dynamic had active air suspension on the dampers though.

Reckon your problem is the wheels. I have 21” on my HSE non dynamic and it rides beautifully.
