Any reason not to buy a hybrid - P400?

I was looking for a RRS 4.4 V8 diesel, but I had to take my Ford daily work hack to the dealership and they also own the JLR franchise next door. I test drove a P400e and was pleasantly surprised, I only live 5miles from work and don't need to tow anything - seemed little reason to pay the extra for a diesel. I wanted a diesel as I can fuel via work, but I can also charge it at work for signigficantly less than the leccy costs me at home.

Also, the insurance is signigicantly different... a 69plate P400e for me is £900 year - the equivalent value 2018 SDV8 is now £2800.

The quote included JLR 1yr warranty, plus a further 3yrs dealership approved warranty at £1500 (so 4yrs total)... so even if faults develop - seems a suitable amount of cover to sort.

Any downsides?
