So whats this lens for ..seem to have some sort of tube to behind the dip unit.

I think you're going to need to highlight it on the image - All I see are the two light units and a reflection of one of them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
