DVD to AVI?

Any one know of the best free software to Rip Dvd to AVI files so i can watch them on my lap top! RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

DVD Decryptor to rip the DVD's

and then DVD Shrink to get rid of all the menus/extras etc to save file space

http://www.dvdshrink.org/

Depending on hard disk space - the quickest way is to use DVD Decrypter to create an ISO file and then use something like Daemon Tools or Nero Image drive to mount the ISO as a virtual drive..

However I assume when you say AVI that you really mean a DIVX encoded file ? RRS TDV8 HSE - Hybrid TV - Sunroof - Adaptive Front Headlights - Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 system

Mate i'v used this DVD Decrypter do i need to set it up in anyway ?? remember changing a few bits in the setting last time? RRS TDV6 Gone but still around
