L320 High Beam Assist module part numbers

HI All.
I gather that the L320 (post 2010) had an option for a high beam assist function. From what I gather the wiring etc is all in place and all that is needed to enable the function is the low res camera and alternate plastic covers behind the interior mirror.
does anyone know the part numbers for the camera and covers?

Thanks -----------------------------------------------

According to Lrcat the camera is part of the rearview mirror - LR024335
http://new.lrcat.com/#!/12729/127046/127789/10193/127795

Part numbers vary depending on VIN but a quick search puts a new one at around £700 but there are a couple on Ebay at the mo for £100.

I have it fitted to mine but leave it switched off....

Great thanks

You leave it switched off? is it not that reliable then?

I notice this mirror has 3 buttons underneath. what are they for? -----------------------------------------------

Don't waste your money on it, another L/R gimmick that nearly works, leave mine switched off as well, slow to activate at times, also tripped by reflective road signs etc. The buttons in bottom of mirror are for the "home link" option garage door opener.

Cheers

Thanks for the quick responses. I will leave it then.
Seems to work well enough in the jag so was considering it if cheap enough. But no point if it’s not effective. -----------------------------------------------

I had the covers off my interior rear view mirror yesterday to tidy up the Dash cam wiring and saw that there is some sort of sensor facing forward as per the pic.

It doesnt look like the camera that is on the HBA mirrors (at least from the ones I have checked on Fleabay) and I have in the past tried to enable HBA (I know many people hate it) but nothing came up so I assumed it wasnt fitted.
Just wondering what the sensor is? Auto windscreen wiper sensor perhaps?

I still might look at an HBA mirror.. just because lol

Rain Sensor, so yes does work in conjunction with the auto wipers.

Thanks Col
So does that stay in place if I do waste my money on a HBA Mirror?
I am guesszing the camera is what triggers the HBA when the correct one is fitted.

Totally separate to the HBA mirror so no need to touch it, it's not actually a camera in the HBA mirror as such more of a photocell type thing I think, or image sensor as L/R call it.

I’m probably the only one who likes HBA and the auto wipers in my 2011 RRS. I have HBA on, but they seem to need to learn if you reset faults or disconnect the battery. I think you may need to alter the CCF if you add it. Prior to this recent reset they were working nearly perfectly. It seems to take around a dozen off/ons for it to get the idea. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Mine is always on as well. I don't find it significantly slower or worse performing than the HBA I got in a 2022 VW. Regards etc.,

Cheers guys... I found one at a very reasonable price so it is on its way... I probably need to get new palstic covers as well.
The reason I wanted it is I do a lot of long distance driving and end up arriving home late from most of my work trips and it is on a major motorway but not much traffic so Auto dimming High Beam works well... at least it did on the Jeep Grand Cherokee that was my last work car.
