2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Siberian Silver

Disco Radio Head unit into a RRS 2005 ?

Any help ?
I have a Range Rover Sport 2005 and the radio buttons seem to have given up the ghost. The radio header unit says 6CD 545 . I have a much better condition 6CD 465 from my old discovery 3.

Question:
Does anyone know if there is any reason why this could not be fitted into the range rover as a straight swap ( although different model numbers it is newer than the 6cd 545

AFAIK it bolts on. The issues may arise if you attach a non-Logic7 unit to a Logic7 car. Regards etc.,

That's pre-empted a question from me -

My 2005 RRS has had a touch screen unit fitted & not very well either.

So that seems to suggest that a RRS or Discovery of the same vintage standard head unit will fit.

Anyone got one surplus to requirement's ?[/b]

Iv a feeling the amp mite give you a clue with type ie logic 7 or not also count the amount of speakers in the car.

I fitted the unit from the Discovery 3 and everything is Hunky dory. I am the darkness before the storm
