The latest updates of RR, RRS, Velar, Disco Sport have introduced a new version of Pivi Pro which allows the setting of temperature, volume control via the Pivi Pro screen... as there are no more physical buttons for climate control... in the 2024 updates of these vehicles.

Has any owner of the new 2022 FFRR and 2023 RRS received this Pivi Pro update and if so, can the climate control be done via Pivi Pro or is it still only with the physical buttons, meaning that this new interface will only be available for the new 2024 models?

Why would anyone want screen controlled heating when they have proper physical controls?  2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

It may be MY specific. I saw a screenshot where MY24 Pivi has a shortcuts tile to allow one click access to volume, heating etc.

This is exactly my question. Are these shortcuts only available on the MY24 or will these also be available to all models, which would allow to choose between either the physical buttons or the screen interface.

There is now a JLR video on YouTube about the MY24 Pivi Pro. Confirms shortcuts just for those vehicles in MY24 with no buttons.

Also Pivi Pro 4.0.0 just announced with lots of new features including using car play maps in IDD screen.
