If it doesn't cover crank failure, it's probably not worth bothering anyway. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I’m with Warranty direct and so far they have been great and have authorized every claim so far. I’ve had 3 claims totaling over £5k. The crankshaft is covered according to the list of items covered. It’s the one main reason I got the warranty in the first place.. Once you make a large claim they do scrutinize the service history though so make sure it’s all there before taking out a warranty so they can’t wriggle out of a claim. |

Im with Motor easy, Crank covered in writing. and wear / tear, otherwise not worth the paper its written on. also make sure a decent hourly rate is on there otherwise no garage good enough to work on an LR product will be available, they normally cover up to 11 years old 100K for new customers but will be subject to an inspection before wear and tear is active. |
