Have just looked again in the box Martin, and it says "flasher" on it so I suppose that has to go into the indicator line somewhere! Also have taken all the lamps out of the box for the first time and they all have wires coming off them instead of having the spade connectors that I have at the moment......................... I have purchased them from Roverantics but they are called River runners on all the packaging.

66k on one clutch seems to be a fair distance for any car - let alone one you take off road, where maybe the clutch gets more use (I'd presume)... if it's having everything else done, it's surely no bad thing to have the clutch replaced too?

I would agree with S for the price of a clutch, its worth doing, and if you dont and it should fail in the future then you will kick yourself, go on you know it makes sense some of my Previous cars

Tim - that sounds like a replacement flasher relay/unit which is compatible with the low current draw of LED lamps. Just swap over your existing one with the new one - job done Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

To make it easier for yourself, I'd go for the crimps, perhaps with a layer of heat-shrink tubing or (shudder) insulation tape over the top to make the join waterproof. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

I'll be looking for some tomorrow Martin - but I won't be replacing anything on the Tdi300 until I have seen the 2007 model that is sitting in Morrison's........................ would hate to fit them only to have to take them off again a few weeks later to put onto a new Defender! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

A newer Defender will be different again as the lighting harness is fitted with 2 or 3 pin plugs - these you will have to cut off Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |
