Do you need to flush the gearbox on the L494?

Yes, but not if you read the LR maintenance schedule. I had mine done at 7 years, 55k miles. I think by around 70k miles is the accepted sort of figure. Came in at about £1050 including 7 year service with cam belt and flush Joined the X5 45e club

I had mine done a few month ago. Car was due it’s 7 year service so got it done at the same time. My car has done 45K miles ish and had no problems with gear changes etc. I think it cost around £300. It made no difference at all to the Gear changes whatsoever but I assume it needs replacing at some stage so not a bad idea to get it done after the 7 years like I did.

£300 was just the gearbox flush not the 7 year service cost which was around £1k
