Transmission Oil change without filter change?

Hi all,

Recently I got a 2010 RRS SCV8 with 130,000KM on it. Tranny pan is still original.

Thinking of the hassle to change to a new pan/filter, I'm just wondering if I just do couple of time transmission oil changes without changing the pan/filter, does the plastic drain plug will last? Or anyone has tried this option?

Cheers
Tom

New drain plug would be a good idea after the last drain

A flush would be a better idea, if there is anyone with a machine in Oz Thumbs Up

Got a quote with 1100 AUD for steel pan conversion + mega flush (not sure if they use ZF LG6). I'm asking the quote for doing the sleeve/adaptor at the same time. See how it goes Smile
