Download went OK for 2017 Sport but then started car and put USB stick into cubby slot and it came up with 'Format not recognised for Multi-media Use'. Tried both slots.

Any ideas please - done search on here for this but no joy.

Have downloaded twice now, 2nd time on brand new 64 gig USB Stick with same results but just occurred to me could it be that I am using old software that permits the maps to be downloaded? As I have only just returned to the fold (messed about with a Jaguar XF for a while) I reckon it must be a number of years since I updated maps. I had assumed that software just facilitated the download but perhaps it does more than that?
My downloads just contain a file named: HereV1 and nothing else.

If you mean Pro Services then yes I'm up to date and paid for the maps through HERE directly using their system

It was the Downloader Software! Latest version had 1 more folder and a few more files than my old one and following a THIRD 2 hour plus download, all is now well and I'm up to date.

Whatever you do, do not format the USB stick. Windows changes the file system and this is not recognised by the car, I have accidentally written off (for map updates) 2x USB sticks this way MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green)
