Honestly just WBAC, couldn't be bothered with the hassle of people, got 2k for it.

A bit given it coulda easily fetched more. But am a bit too honest about all the issue with it.

Issues just piled up and realistically it only cost me another 2k to upgrade to a L322 4.4 TDV8.

I'll be parting out whatever stuff I had in the selling section.

It was an LPGed car, and it had the problem of being forever throwing lean codes even after an engine rebuild with hardened valve seats.

I think the Cat was clogged, but I just had enough of tinkering.

Iv got an early L322 with the m62 V8 engine I will be very if I have to part with it due yo ulez expansion. I'm trying yo console my self with my sc sport last couple of issues to resolve and it should be sorted.
Just need to install a restrictor in the petrol return line so the lpg switching over doesn't throw up a low fuel pressure code and stutter. I had to replace the original fuel return line as it was rotten not knowing it had some sort of restriction somewhere in the hose

I think in the grand scheme I wanted an L322 and just didn't know any better.

Am already enjoying the wafty ride of the L322.

For me it's mostly because I wanted the RR to slow me down, I already have another car that goes fast

I had a restrictor on the fuel return line, all was working fine. But I think under certain loads the low fuel pressure code still can be thrown.

If the engine was running with decent fuel trims on petrol I woulda probably been happy to keep. But ah wells.

Can you remember what size the fuel restricted was ? And where in the fuel line it was fitted.
I'm tempted to fit my restrictor.....a welding tip with 1m internal diameter hole at the rear but the petrol shut off valve as its the easiest place to reach.

I wanted to try and measure fuel pressure with my gap tool to compare when running on petrol then fuel pressure on the return line when running on lpg but it seems you can't measure fuel.pressure on the sc with a gsp tool unless I'm being thick.

Totally agree with the ride on the FF nothing quite like it.

you cant with gap no, its about 70psi if i remember rightly.

i could measure it with jsut a bog standard OBD reader though, real weird.

Thanks, yeah it's about that 70 psi I just need to be able to make sure it's about the same on lpg and petrol. I start with 1mm Diameter internal and adjust the size of the hole as needed.

Think I need to pick up a generic obd reader then as you say you could read it on that and not gap tool.
My understanding is gap didn't see a need to measure it on the sc engine as its a variable speed/pressure pump depending on engine demand unlike on our tdv6 D3 where I can monitor the fuel pressure.

I mean I'd assume because it is variable we should be able to view it vs the return line.

I just need to make sure the return fuel pressure is the same as normal running fuel pressure when on petrol so the pressure sensor is happy. Currently when mine switches over it detects the sudden low fuel pressure and can stall the car out. Other than that it runs sweet as on lpg.

i mean i roughly remember 1.5mm as the diameter but that could be completely wrong. might be worth just going up in increments till you hit the sweet spot.

Yeah that's the plan iv got 1mm internal diameter at the moment waiting yo go in if the pressure is to high drill it out 0.5mm at a time will have to get a generic code reader 1st so I can monitor fuel pressure.
