2020 onwards SVR - query

Evening all… just bought a 2020 SVR and I noticed that the front callipers appear to be missing the carbon air ducts that fit on the rear of each calliper… before I go on a rant with the dealership just trying to confirm that they were actually fitted to this MY?
Thanks ….

Apparently they were not … it’s a shame because on the mark one SVR’s they were a thing of beauty… they were made of carbon fibre and scooped air from just under the lower arms and channeled it to the back of the callipers directly onto the pads..

I suspect the reason they stopped was due to galvanic corrosion between the callipers and the bolts holding the ducts in place.
Shame..,

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

LR cost cutting - instead of changing the bolt, remove the entire item and (no doubt) fail to reduce the vehicle's price accordingly. Big Cry 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
