I have a 2012 RRS I've had for over a year now, it automatically lowers the seat as soon as the door is opened after turning the engine off.

Past few weeks it has started making a loud creak or 2 as the seat goes down. If I get back in, drive off then stop again, it doesn't make the noise.
I've seen on here someone suggesting saddle soap around the plastic parts, is there anything else to look at while I'm at it?
