Turning them raises or lowers the angle of the arm when it's in the horizontal position. Barrie.

Do you not have a Owners Handbook?

As I was never able to find a PDF copy of one so I put one together during Covid lockdown for something to do, although it is for a MY12/13 car there is very little difference to the earlier facelift cars, the infotainment interface is different, also I know the wiper switch/washers work different way round may be a few other bits but nothing much. I'll post a link to it over the weekend if it's any help, also added some bits that are not in the official one like service schedules, check sheets etc.

I was actually referring to the difference between the MY10/11 and MY12/13 facelift variants, easiest way to find that out really is to have a look at a pre-facelift.

I have the 2011 owners handbook in PDF, if you’re interested.

Thankfully they never fitted that rotary gearshift thing to the S/C, I think it was only fitted with the 8 speed box, the only difference in the headlights was the internal backing changed from grey to black same with the rear lights I believe but not totally sure on that one.

It is part of the 8HP70 transmission which was fitted to the 3.0 SDV6 for emissions reasons. We have a 2013 SDV6 with the 8 speed at the shop, talk about screwed if something acts up. Your options are park or neutral, no trying to limp that home. We also have a 3.0 TDV6 with the 6HP28 transmission, same as your SC. It is acting up and locking into park when warm, at least it has a manual override to release the lever though.

No adjustment lever, something to do with beam pattern that nothing needs changing.

That’s what I recall, it’s basically just a flat beam pattern like if I were to flip the switch in mine. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
