New battery IID tool programming

Hi all,
I replaced both batteries on my l494 2015 about 2 months ago, having recently bought a gap IID tool am I too late to reset the battery charge programmer and if I can reset it how do I use the IID to do it?
Thanks in advance

There would be no reason to reset now. Having installed it is just telling the car to reset old battery data when you install a new battery. The car monitors it anyway so would have adapted to the recent data it got regarding the new battery after using for a while.

I have just replaced both Batteries on my SDV8 with LIPO4 Starter batteries. Expensive but no issues re replacement, My reason for the replacement was a saving of weight as I tow a 3 ton off road van.

As it worked out the batteries fitted like OME only issue was the main battery was smaller and required a slight adjustment to the foam top spacer.

Very satisfied with the results, motor spins up nicely , and I effectively have slightly more useable power. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.
