I purchased the car in March with 145K on the clock with service history up to 130K, I knew there were a few bits that needed doing from the advisory list from the MOT. I did all of those and found there was a whole lot more needed so the first month of ownership was interesting.
To be fair I have really enjoyed doing the work and will be sad to see it go, I have recently started to need to do a lot more miles. I have put on 8000 miles since I have owned it and that is set to increase due to work commitments, it has been on some long journeys with me recently down to Newquay, across to Barmouth, up to Rotherham and Preson to name a few. On these journeys it has averaged at around 30 to 31 MPG which is not bad for these, and it has eaten the miles with no issues at all. Currently has no fault codes apart from one to do with the actuator which moves the air around the cabin at foot level, I will leave the carsoft code reader and the datakey with the workshop manual in the car for the next owner.
All of the usual HSE extras, below is a list of the parts replaced/work done since I have owned it.
Alternator replaced with a Denso model
Engine coolant expansion tank and sensor
Front Diff pressure relief valve
Air conditioning condenser
Oil changes on front and rear differentials
Oil change in torque convertor
The service book says the gearbox oil and filter was changed at 129K (TBF the box does look like it has been resealed at some point)
Oil and filer change for engine (ran for 200 miles and then did the filer again as and extra once it came with another filter kit)
Cabin pollen filter
Engine air filter
Rear brake flexi and metal pipes
Rear discs and pads
Rear calipers and carriers
Rear prop shaft and center bearing
Both front wheel bearings
Fuel tank cradle
Drivers seat heat pad
4 Wheel alignment
New spare wheel winch
Treated and waxoiled the underside
New wheel nuts all round
The bad bits
The bodywork is not in bad condition but could do with a good buffing up, there is a 1 ½”crack at the corner of the front bumper and a dent in the top of the rear bumper.
