codes P0101-17 and P0489-00

last couple days gearbox problem maybe, when going down motorway 60mph or 100km (our speed limit here) and then let off the accelerator the engine revs drop to tick over around 800rpm and then when engine/gearbox warmed up the engine revs stay around 1500 rpm at 60mph and drop slightly when taking foot of accelerator, just seams odd only doing this when cold around 7'C or 44.6F, is this normal as only just noticed it, when i got home but my scanner and fault codes were P0101-17(MAF SENSOR AND P0489-00 EGR Valve, Have cleaned the MAF Sensor 4 weeks ago as fault code came up then, the EGR Valves were removed last year and Mapped out from the Ecu, have noticed as well using a bit more fuel then normal, have had no engine management lights on and has not ever gone into limp mode, could the MAF Sensor cause gearbox issues, any ideas please. Cheers

Poland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Fuji White

We had an LR3 2.7 with this same issue and fault codes. Unfortunately the customer declined having us diagnose it and only wanted their torque converter rebuilt. They had cut several wires to the EGRs (it’s Poland, if it can be rigged, it will be) due to a stuck EGR valve. Our best guess was the throttle body potentially going, but again, a guess due to unable to fully diagnose. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
