Zilch, you forget all the overpaid footballers who live up in the NW, they cannot justify buying a new RRS from Kahn or Revere every week so they get their WAG a new designer kitchen instead. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Apparently Cheshire has the highest density of millionaires per square mile than any other county in the UK. Not sure if that includes London as well though.

I won't brag about how nice it is to live here though - we don't want anymore shandy pumps in the pubs thanks Razz WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Yes all footballers as Tim says, exiled from the South.. However there use to be a load of #ankers who lived in Surrey and the leafy area's of the chilterns, i bet not so many around now Laughing

Apparently there is an awful lot of C-Suite execs living in Cheshire. The kitchen company I mention above did a kitchen for a client whilst I was there and the house was just stunning. The owner was a CE of a household name company - global. They are going to ask if I can do some pictures of their kitchen when it is finished for the new brochure.

Its true we have an awful lot of premiership footballers around here too but you can spot them a mile off. They are usually stood under a bridge near Wilmslow on the phone gazing unperturbed at their written off Ferrari.

Nah seriously - if you take a drive around Wilmslow/Hale/Bollington/Prestbury you can spot their houses a mile off. They're mostly new build, no character and have a distasteful statue in a fountain somewhere behind wrought iron gates. The real Cheshire money is in the large country mansions which are many. Those who don't need to shout out their wealth (remind you of someone) but are more refined in their demonstrations of wealth and most certainly don't go near Cristal if they fancy some bubbly.

If we could cleanse the county of those wanna be Cheshire set types it would all be lovely here again. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Baxc you fit the kitchens in some of the houses I build probably.....90% of my new homes are in Cheshire and Greater Manchester, especially Al Edge......it's another world to what we know and think exists in London.....one of my clients, talking about cars, got into negative equity on a 599, had virtually no deposit,. huge monthly payment - ended up owing about £241K on the car - after a year it's worth about £150K.....ok he can afford it, but ouch!!!!
