good idea, but - does the paint resist during mounting/unmounting the wheels etc.? have you experience regarding this? Range Rover Sport HST D350 |

I bought a set from Ebay - search 22mm wheel nut covers price around £10. Had them 3 years and look good, however I do not have a cover on the locking nut so that one nut still looks a bit naff. MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green) |

I used Hammerite matt black spray paint, but in my case it was to refresh a set of already black nuts. Might need to prep them first, with some wet / dry paper? |

I did a little prep work as mentioned then painted. I did this in 3 or 4 coats letting each dry with a little hair dryer help. They have been in the car since 2016, I had to touch up over the years. Still look great with gloss alloys. 2018 Telsa MS

I got a set of 22mm black caps from ebay for around £10, had them on for 3 or 4 months and no issues. They look great, miles better than the silver wheels nuts with the black wheels.
