Advice about a broken tube, causing my 'performance' issue

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and would like some advice please?

I have an RRS SDV6 2013 for the last 4 years and absolutely love the car.

I have had a warning saying 'restricted performance' for around 3 of the 5 times i've used the car in the last few weeks.
Usually when i push the car around 2500 revs. If I stop and turn off the car for a couple of mins, no warning.

After looking on the net for answers and thinking the worst, i opened up the bonnet and under the cover i found a tube split.
I thought I may just be able to pull the tube out and replace it, when it snapped.
As I'm not sure if the tube is fixed to the rubber and how the rubber fixes to the 'engine?'
Will i do more damage if i try pulling the tube out ( does it actually pop out of the rubber ) or is the tube/rubber a complete connection?
Would anyone know what this tube and connection is called, what its used for and could it be causing the 'restricted performance' issue?
I've added 2 pics which show a distant and close up view.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Only a guess but looks a bit like crankcase oil breather/separator pipe to me, but sure someone will know.

Oil separator, as above

I doubt this is causing your issue, as the latest inlet manifold have these ports blocked off...

What fault codes do you have?
