When I was looking under my car to see if I could see anything rattling (see my post on p400e engine footwell rattle) I noticed the passenger side rear edge of the big skid plate in the centre of the car has been bashed out of shape, but in a very odd way. I’ve attached a photo which maybe isn’t great but hopefully shows what I mean. The rear rim edge has been bent DOWN and folded round nearly 180 degrees whereas had I been off-road (which I haven’t) and bashed something it would have been bent upwards.

It’s not doing any damage and the skid plate itself is solid and not otherwise damaged or loose. I’d never have spotted it had I not been looking for something else but I can’t work out how it could have happened when it’s only been driven on smooth tarmac. Not sure it’s worth bothering about though - just one of life’s little mysteries!!
