Hi all,

I have a 2016 SVR and my indy did a health check and said it had poly bushes fitted and that they shouldn't be on there.

Does it make any difference that it's an SVR or is it the normal pros and cons of poly against OEM?

I'm probably looking to get OEM put on when he does the arms, so any advice, greatly appreciated especially around the SVR bit.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

All the advice I have received over the years is not to fit polybushes.

The main problem seems to be that they do not have an outer steel sleeve, so tend to enlarge the hole in the chassis or suspension component until it needs repair or replacement.

If they were really good, don't you think LR would fit them as original parts?

My 2010 model came to me with poly bushes.

Almost too stiff, but the worst is the squeaking noise when they are bone dry, almost embarrassing.

Wouldn't fit them myself, although have fitted poly bushed drop links to my D4 Commercial, and would fit these to my RRS if ever I needed to change them (again).

There is only one make of poly bushes worth fitting and they are Superpros. Properly designed, engineered and tested to sort out Land Rovers design issues, which is why these vehicles eat through the standard OEM bushes so quickly.
