My 2006 sunroof has been working fine. Went to use it a couple of days ago and absolutely nothing happened.

Checked the fuse, which was fine so did some Googling. Tried the reset and it barely moved before going dead again. Checked the top and front and back seals had somehow become stuck to the roof, eased them all off with a screwdriver and then replaced back in grooves and tried recalibrating again.

Now goes up and down fine but only moved back an inch at most. Tried some silicon spray into the void and no improvement.

Tried another recal but stopped it before it locked, now goes up and down fine but going back will only go back an inch on the left but the right still tries to carry on with some nasty clacking/cracking noises.

Presumably I need to remove the front of the headlining to get to it, but wondering what I’m likely to find needs replacing?
