There is an old saying about things that look too good to be true.......... do they also make claims about improving the fuel consumption? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

April 1st has been and gone, they reckon they can push a 385bhp 4.2L up to around 615bhp with just a pulley and remap, I don't think so. Alive tuning couldn't get that on my 5.0L S/C with a pulley upgrade and remap and that starts of at 510bhp. Cheers Col |

I have an upgraded supercharger pulley (10%) and it was well worth the money.

The Supercharger is a Eaton TVS R1900 or it was on the original third generation AJ133 5.0L although it may have changed by now.

So far these options look good for the pulley upgrade, in order of cost:

I've toyed with the idea of a trip to David Appleby Engineering for their pulley and ECU (£1248 fitted) as they are only eight miles away. However, will the gearbox and the rest of the transmission cope with 600 BHP and a hike in torque too?

this is why I'm only keen for the pulley upgrade - a modest power upgrade (20-30hp), but improves the driveability. --
