When LR were good!

Just seen a post on Facebook and don't know if the original poster is a member on here but had to share his story (sorry can't share the link as it's a closed group). His 2007 Sport, brought new and with "16 years of hard use" has just given up the ghost after 389,000 Miles (yes, miles!). Original engine, gearboxes and air bags and only broke down 3 times in its life, alternator in 2012, ear in 2018 and now this (last) time. Crying or Very sad
He says it feels like a lack of compression from one cylinder.
I can only imagine the memories he's had with that car!
RIP 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Sorry, I should have said 2.7 (that's all he says). 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

If they're looked after they are good vehicles that can go a long way. Getting them in to the hands of a decent LR specialist makes a big difference, as does spending money on the correct bits when they need doing. Too many try to run them cheaply and then get bitten in return. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
